I could not think of an answer, that is, until today, New Year's Day 2006, while I and some family members were listening - of course, how could one avoid it? - to the annual New Year’s Day concert with the Wiener Philharmonic Orchestra.

When conductor Janson concluded the concert with a speach, we were having lunch in front of the television. He said inspiring things about music.

Promptly I began to see a link between dance and philosophy...

But now I'm not so sure anymore, and this philosophical conclusion makes me dance with joy. My cat, sitting on the radiator and looking at me with her wise eyes, is perfectly philosophical about it.

Kinkazzo says: "...success of art is measured by the extent to which it is able to render experiences of one dimension into terms of another."

I agree. When the expression of our experience becomes a bridge to others, even if they live in a completely different world, we truly succeed in communicating with them. They will feel compelled to respond in some way or other.

Maybe I am the latest incarnation of Kinkazzo's success, because I used his 'bridge' - I created a blog - to be able to respond.
